For over 30 years, CJ Construction has been working hard to make the dreams of more than 100 clients a reality. But our story goes back even further. The founder, CJ Johnson, has had a passion for building since he was young. From building treehouses as a kid to helping with construction projects in Mexico, these early experiences have shaped our company. CJ's commitment to excellence has always been at the heart of CJ Construction, making us who we are today.

In 1994, we started building custom homes as part of the effort to rebuild after the Oakland Hills fire. This was a big project for us and it led to more large-scale rebuilding work. CJ JOHNSON

Lori K Johnson is a award winning interior designer and interior architectural designer with over 20 years of experience. Lori was chosen to do the Marin Designer showcase 3 years in a row, was seen on“Eye on the Bay” and “California Living” for the kitchen I designed in 2006. She holds a degree in interior design and interior architecture from UC Berkeley and is an expert in color theory, materials, spatial layout, and form. Lori has a remarkable ability to enter a space and instinctively envision its optimal transformation. Her passion for her work is evident in the great satisfaction she finds in witnessing the evolution of a project from its initial stages to its final touches.

Lori employs 3D renders to explore design possibilities and Autocad to develop 2D drawings for construction purposes. Beyond creating aesthetically pleasing environments, she places a strong emphasis on a space's functionality and alignment with the client's requirements. She demonstrates proficiency in meticulous analysis and seamless coordination of all design elements.

Moreover, Lori is a distinguished member of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association). This organization establishes standards for kitchens and bathrooms, including minimum walking spaces, ideal cooking layouts, heights, and compliance with accessibility codes.
